What material are the yoga mats made of?
The underside of the mat is natural rubber, so the mat won't vibrate, even during intense cardio exercises. The top of the mat is microfiber, but quite different from the ones you've known so far - ours is made from recycled 15 PET bottles!
Are the mats ecological?
Natural rubber is a 100% eco-friendly and biodegradable material. Our mats do not contain PVC, adhesives or other harmful substances. Prints on the mats are made with water-based inks. Unlike other mats, our mats have no unpleasant odor.
Are the mats non-slip?
All our mats have a special non-slip layer that provides grip even with dry hands . You will definitely notice that the texture of our microfiber made from recycled PET bottles is slightly rough - so our mats are not slippery like other mats made from ordinary microfiber.

How much does a 1mm mat weights?
Our 1mm mats are ultra-lightweight and weight just 1kg! We have created them specifically so that you can easily take them with you on your workout.
Will I also get a bag to store the mat?
Of course! You get our beautiful caramel-coloured, 100% cotton bag with ecological water-based ink printing free of charge with every mat from the GYM x TRAVEL 1mm series.
On my 1mm mat when unfolded you can see slight folds, is this normal?
Don't worry, this is perfectly normal and unavoidable when folding your mat - lay the mat out on the ground, start exercising and after a short time the bends will disappear on their own. If you prefer, you can also store your 1mm mat rolled up and only fold it when you take it with you to practice.

The HOME x COMFORT version of the 3mm thick mat is for you if:
- You exercise mainly at home and are looking for a stationary but still lightweight mat with comfortable cushioning,
- You are tired of slipping on the mat and are looking for one with good grip, even with dry hands,
- You want it to be easy to care for and machine washable,
- you care about the planet and recycling is important to you - you want to reduce plastic waste by giving it a second life
How much does the 3mm mat weights?
Our 3mm mats weight just 2.4kg.
Will I also get a cotton strap to carry the mat?
For each mat of the HOME x COMFORT 3mm series we add a free cotton strip for transporting the mat.

Can the mats be washed in the washing machine?
Yes! You can machine wash our 1mm and 3mm mats at 30°C whenever you find they need it. Choose a hand wash program (no spin) and avoid using detergent. After washing, hang the mat flat to dry. Do not tumble dry, iron, etc.
How best to care for the mats?
Our mats really like to be cleaned from time to time with a clothes roller or a damp cloth. What they don't like is constant exposure to harsh sunlight, which can speed up their biodegradation process.

What to do with an old yoga mat?
If you want to buy a new yoga mat, but are wondering what to do with the old and worn out one, we have some ideas for you to give it a second life:
- use the old mat as a carpet on your balcony or garden,
- Take with you to the park or beach and use instead of a blanket,
- give the gift to your dog,
- donate to a shelter.
