Microsoft IE9 Can Use GPU Acceleration

The next version of Internet Explorer, IE9 will be able to get the maximum speed off-loading of the browser and to the CPU.

IE9 This will increase the speed of the browser when sending renderan pictures and text to graphics card. The idea to use these graphics processors to increase the speed of the browser Mozilla ever known and Opera.

President of Microsoft and Windows Live, Steven Sinofsky said earlier this IE9 work will show a significant performance. This IE9 will use the Windows GDI (Graphics Device Interface) which is used by the earliest version to render the image and use Direct2D and DirectWrite API ‘which allows you to render 2-dimensional images and text.

And that means that graphics hardware can render graphics acceleration faster on sites that use a lot of image processing when using a CPU. The results initially were able to render IE 40, 50 or 60% fps (Frame PerSecond).
